Volunteer for Donate Dinner

“Donate Dinner” provides shoppers at local grocery stores the opportunity to donate a dinner to a homebound senior when they do their holiday shopping the five days before Thanksgiving.  Last year shoppers donated $250,000!

Sat, November 17, 2018 — Wed, November 21, 2018.  Two-hour greeter shifts are available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All New Seasons Market locations as well as Market of Choice locations, Bales Thriftways, Lamb’s Garden Home, Jim’s Thriftway, Green Zebra at Lloyd Center and Kenton and Chuck’s Produce locations in Vancouver, Nov. 17 through 21.

How does it work?  Volunteers greet customers and hand them a card that explains how they can “donate dinner” when they check out. Each volunteer shift is only two hours and available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Shifts are available at all New Seasons Market locations as well as a number of other independent grocers.  Sign up by clicking on one of the buttons below.
