Willamette Week’s Give!Guide is here, and we need your help to reach our $80,000 goal! Together, we can provide 7,619 meals and moments of social connection to homebound older adults in our community. That’s 7,619 moments when an aging neighbor doesn’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
Last year, with your support, we delivered nearly 1.5 million meals to over 11,400 seniors and at-risk neighbors. This year, the need is even greater — Meals on Wheels People has seen a 12.45% increase in meals served, reflective of the growing urgency. Rising costs and reductions in SNAP benefits have left many of our aging neighbors more vulnerable to hunger and isolation.
But your gift can help change that. Just $10.50 provides a nutritious meal and vital social connection to a senior in need. By donating $73.50, you can provide a full week of meals and social support to a senior in need.
Every donation matters because every meal matters.
