Special summer volunteer opportunities
We have a number of special events this summer that need volunteers, including ushering at Portland Pickles Baseball games, helping to sell “empty bowls” at the American Association of Woodturners convention, staffing a booth at Camas Days and more. Become a Meals on Wheels Driver
We rely on 400 volunteers each weekday to assist with delivering a hot, nutritious lunch to homebound seniors. Driving, walking and bike routes available. We also need volunteers to assist with Meals on Wheels preparation. All volunteers must have a valid drivers license and pass a background check. Learn More
Dining Center Opportunities
We have a number of dining centers throughout the greater Portland metropolitan area. We serve a hot lunch weekdays and rely on volunteers to help prepare and serve the meals. Most volunteers will need to pass a background check. Learn More
Opportunities include: Kitchen support, cleaning and sanitation; food preparation and serving; office support; center activities

Who are the Community Connectors? Community Connectors are a group of volunteers that represent Meals on Wheels People in the community. They will be responsible for tabling events and speaking engagements for the purpose of educating the community and recruiting participants and volunteers for Meals on Wheels People. Interested?
