For families facing barriers to accessing food, the joy of the holiday season can sometimes feel out of reach. This year, we invite you to help bring the magic of the holidays to these families by participating in our Meals 4 Kids Toy Drive.
From Nov. 17 to Dec. 18, Meals on Wheels People’s Meals 4 Kids program will be collecting new, unwrapped toys, family games, and stocking stuffers for children of all ages. Your generous donations will be delivered alongside nutritious meals to children and families experiencing food insecurity in the Portland area.
Last year, we were able to deliver toys to more than 300 families, reaching more than 750 kids, along with providing 285,013 meals to caregivers and children. With your help, we can bring joy to even more families this holiday season.
How You Can Help
- Donate New, Unwrapped Toys: Drop off toys, games, and stocking stuffers at our Westside Resource Center at 7710 SW 31st Ave. or the new Meals on Wheels People Eastside Resource Center, currently under construction, at 4035 SE 82nd Ave., between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
